Though it is the same scale and size as the 2nd Series, the 3rd Series shares little in common with the previous series.  The only parts that carry over are the seats, the mirrors, the taillights, the steering assemblies and the decals.  I started over with the 3rd Series, taking careful measurements from my own car (vin 1864) to create the most accurate model Bricklin I have ever made.
